Le jury, la participation populaire et l'expertise - La loi peut déterminer que des juges sociaux statuent sur une affaire relative au droit du travail, une infraction contre la santé publique, une infraction de moindre gravité. Leur intervention est également possible en matière d'exécution des peines ou dans d'autres cas qui, eux aussi, imposent une pondération des valeurs sociales transgressées. [Article 207-2]
