The law shall regulate the resizing of farming units that are excessively large from the point of view of the agricultural policy objectives, and, in the case of expropriation, shall provide for the right of each owner to the corresponding compensation and to the retention of an area that is sufficient to ensure the viability and rationality of his own farm. [Article 94(1)]

L'élimination des exploitations agricoles de trop grandes dimensions au regard des objectifs de la politique agricole s'effectue dans les conditions définies par la loi. Cette dernière prévoit, en cas d'expropriation, le droit du propriétaire à une juste indemnité et à une superficie réservée suffisante pour permettre la viabilité et la rationalité de sa propre exploitation. [Article 94-1]
